You’re Already Making Homemade Pizza, Why Not Pizza Subs Too?

Pizza Dough ManufacturerWhen your restaurant or café is offering homemade pizza customers come to expect that you’ll offer pizza subs, too. They’re super easy to make and the chances are, you already have most of the ingredients on hand!

Ingredients

  • Sub rolls
  • Italian sausage, taken out of the casings, crumbled, cooked, and drained
  • Ham, cooked and shaved
  • Pizza garnish sauce
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green, thinly sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • Pepperoni, sliced
  • Mushrooms, sliced

Instructions

  1. Open rolls. On bottom half layer a generous amount of sauce, a couple of slices of mozzarella cheese, sausage, ham, mushrooms, onion, green pepper, pepperoni, and then another couple of slices of mozzarella cheese.
  2. Close tops and spray several pieces of aluminum foil (one for each sub) with non-stick cooking spray. Wrap subs individually in foil, sealing ends.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place subs in for about 12-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, remove aluminum foil, and serve!

Pizza subs are considered a staple among pizzerias and other restaurants, and everyone will love them! For kids menus just cut the sub in half and then half again. Serve two quarters of the sandwich, with some crispy chips or French fries.
