Wholesale Bread Becomes Stuffed Garlic Bread!

Breads, Rolls and TunnelsYou probably already have garlic bread on your menu, so why not stuff it already and give your customers something that they’ll always remember. Use wholesale bread and this one will only take you a few minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package dough
  • ½ cup fresh herbs of your choice (rosemary, thyme, parsley, and dill all work well)
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed and diced
  • ½ cup butter, softened at room temperature
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. If frozen bread dough needs to be cooked, bake according to package directions. If not, proceed to step two.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Make cuts across the bread, first on a diagonal in one direction, but going all the way across the bread; then cutting on a diagonal in the other direction. Make sure you cut deep enough to hold bits of butter, but not so deep that the bread falls apart.
  4. In a medium-sized bowl mix together garlic, butter, and fresh herbs. Stir to completely combine.
  5. Gently press the butter mixture into the bread, trying to get in as many of the nooks and crannies you created as possible.
  6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place in the oven for 10 minutes, just to melt the butter and crisp the top.

Once you’ve removed the bread from the oven, serve it to your customers and watch them rip it to pieces!
