Want to Offer a Taste of Philadelphia? Turn Wholesale Pizza Dough into Philly Cheesesteak Pizza!

If you’re located in Philadelphia or any of the surrounding areas, or you just want to offer a taste of this fabulous city, you have to offer Philly Cheesesteak pizza in your restaurant! It’s easy, especially when you let us do the hard work and order wholesale pizza dough to do it!

Ingredients

  • 1 package dough pizza
  • ¾ cup prepared pizza sauce
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • ¾ cup cheesesteak, cooked and sliced
  • ½ onion, thinly sliced and caramelized
  • ½ green bell pepper, julienned
  • ½ red bell pepper, julienned

Preparation:

 

  1. Preheat pizza oven to 900 degrees, or conventional oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place Italian pizza dough onto a work surface or baking sheet and stretch it out until it’s about 14” around.
  3. Spread pizza sauce over the crust, followed with the provolone cheese, then the steak, onions, and peppers on top.
  4. Place pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10 – 12 minutes. When done, check the bottom and edges of the crust. If they’re golden brown, and the cheese is melted and bubbling, the pizza is ready.
