Turn Your Pizza Dough into a Reuben Sandwich!

Turn Your Pizza Dough into a Reuben Sandwich!

Frozen Pizza DoughOkay, it’s actually a Reuben pizza and not a Reuben sandwich. But this dish just proves that no matter how slice you it, or how you serve it, Reubens are always a crowd favorite – even when they come served on pizza dough!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package dough
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced and lightly sauteed
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ¼ cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
  • ½ pound corned beef, slice
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, fully drained

Instructions:

  1. Roll out wholesale pizza dough if necessary. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  2. Over the surface of the dough, evenly spread the Thousand Island dressing.
  3. Layer onto the pizza the lightly sautéed onion, the sauerkraut and the corned beef. Cover with Swiss cheese, and brush edges of dough with butter.
  4. Place in the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes or as directed on the package, just as you would with other pizzas.
  5. Remove from oven piping hot and serve to customers immediately.

Your customers will be so impressed with your creativity, and with your Reuben pizza, that you can bet they’ll be back for more!
