Turn Sub Rolls into Monkey Bread and Watch them Go Bananas!

sub roll manufacturer
Monkey bread is a favorite dessert for many people, and they’re best served at any time of the day. They’re easy to make and only require a few ingredients, which makes them a delight for both you and your customers!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of sub rolls, with each roll split or cut into thirds
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease a casserole dish to hold all the package dough pieces. Brush the sides of each roll with the beaten egg and place all the rolls together in the casserole dish, making sure that the sides of the rolls are all touching another roll. The beaten egg will ensure that the rolls stick together to form one large bread after it’s baked.
  2. Drizzle the melted butter over the rolls and then sprinkle the cinnamon and the brown sugar over top.
  3. Place in the hot oven and bake for just 5 – 7 minutes, until the butter is bubbly and the sugar is crisp and slightly dark.
  4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve as is, or break into smaller pieces to serve several smaller “breads.”

Run out of rolls but still have a lot of orders for monkey bread coming in? You can use raw wholesale bread dough, just be sure to cook it longer in the oven so it’s fully baked through.
