Top Your Frozen Pizza Shells with Hot Wings!
Okay, we don’t really mean that you should fry up a batch of wings and just throw them onto a homemade pizza. But with this fresh topping for your frozen pizza shells, your customers will be able to have both of their favorite pizza snacks – in one!
Ingredients:
- 1 package dough
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons hot sauce
- ½ cup blue cheese salad dressing
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, or according to instructions on package of dough. Grease a pizza stone or tray before placing dough on.
- Combine the tomato sauce, butter, and hot sauce in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered, for about 15 minutes until it starts to thicken up.
- Add chicken to the saucepan and stir to thoroughly coat.
- To the dough on the baking sheet, spread an even layer of blue cheese dressing. Top with chicken in the hot sauce and cheese.
- Place in the oven and allow to bake for 8-10 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and crispy and the cheese has melted.
- Remove from onion, top with green onions and serve!
There’s nothing better than a little pizza and wings – except maybe when they’re put together!
