Top Your Frozen Pizza Shells with Hot Wings!

Par Baked ShellsOkay, we don’t really mean that you should fry up a batch of wings and just throw them onto a homemade pizza. But with this fresh topping for your frozen pizza shells, your customers will be able to have both of their favorite pizza snacks – in one!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package dough
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • ½ cup blue cheese salad dressing
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, or according to instructions on package of dough. Grease a pizza stone or tray before placing dough on.
  2. Combine the tomato sauce, butter, and hot sauce in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered, for about 15 minutes until it starts to thicken up.
  3. Add chicken to the saucepan and stir to thoroughly coat.
  4. To the dough on the baking sheet, spread an even layer of blue cheese dressing. Top with chicken in the hot sauce and cheese.
  5. Place in the oven and allow to bake for 8-10 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and crispy and the cheese has melted.
  6. Remove from onion, top with green onions and serve!

There’s nothing better than a little pizza and wings – except maybe when they’re put together!
