Top Pizza Dough with Brie and Cranberries for Cranberry Day!

fruit turnover recipe from DeIorios
With Thanksgiving being just around the corner, and the prized cranberry sauce being such a big part of it, it makes sense that National Cranberry Day also falls within this month. So how can you celebrate it with your pizza dough? By simply adding a decadent cheese, and the best retail pizza dough you can find!

Start by unrolling the wholesale pizza dough if it’s needed and spread a thin layer of cranberry sauce over top of it. Then, cut off the rind from the brie and tear off chunks of it, placing it on top of the cranberry sauce. If you’d like, you can also add some whole sage leaves on top of the sauce. When they get baked, they’ll become crispy and delicious, and their texture can really help add to the texture of the entire pizza.

Place the pizza into the oven and bake for about 12 minutes, until the crust is firm and golden, and the brie has started to melt. Don’t worry about it if it oozes out and around the pizza. That’s the nature of brie when it’s heated, and it’s also part of what makes this pizza so delicious!
