Tired of Offering Only Frozen Breadsticks? Stuff ‘Em Instead!

Breadsticks are a staple on just about any menu, or on any table that customers sit at. But when you want to mix it up a bit and give them something they’ll really remember, try preparing stuffed breadsticks instead. While you probably won’t be able to use the frozen breadsticks you’re currently using, you will be able to use the freezer to oven dough you currently have on-hand!

Thaw dough out if it is frozen, and cut into narrow rectangular strips (about three inches across.) In the center of the dough place any toppings you like. We suggest ham and cheese, pepperoni and cheese, broiled chicken and pesto, and broccoli and cheese. Fold up the long sides so that they meet, crimp to seal, and then tuck and roll them underneath so that they can’t be seen. Then do the same thing with the ends.

Place in a 375 degrees oven and bake for about 15 minutes, until the dough is golden brown. Melt a small amount of butter and mix together with some garlic powder. Once the package dough is rolled, sealed, and baked brush the butter mixture over the entire thing. If you’d like, sprinkling a good deal of Parmesean over top can be a nice touch, too.

Remove from oven, and serve immediately to any hungry crowd!
