Start Offering Homemade Pizza Bread to Your Customers!

Retail Pizza DoughHave you ever made homemade pizza bread before? Do you think your customers have ever had pizza bread before? If not, it’s time to start making them something new – and something they’ll keep coming back for!

Start with a bunt pan and the frozen pizza sheets that you always buy for your restaurant. Spray the pan with cooking spray and then slice the dough into thin strips that will fit inside the pan. Obviously the commercial pizza dough won’t naturally fit in there; you’ll need to twist and turn it in order to make it fit. Don’t worry if the dough is layered on itself, it will still bake up just fine.

Then layer some sauce and cheese on top. Don’t go crazy with the toppings on this one. It is, after all, bread that you’re making, not a pizza casserole. The idea is that you want it to all bake together into one – not like a standard pie that’s topped or stuffed with different toppings. Do top it with another slice of dough, adding more sauce and cheese on top. Place in a 375 degree oven and bake for about 20 – 30 minutes.

When it comes out, it’s almost ready to serve. Just make sure you have a serving of pizza sauce for dipping that delicious bread into!
