Start Featuring Frozen Bread Dough on Your Party Menu with the Party Taco!

Breads, Rolls and TunnelsParty menus are a great way to bring in new business, and offer your customers something really fun for the crowd to enjoy. But why stick with the same old party sub that every restaurant on the block is offering? Instead offer this party taco that’s super easy to make using frozen bread dough, and super tasty to eat!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of bread dough
  • 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef, browned with 3 tablespoons taco seasoning, and drained
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Sour cream, salsa, and guacamole on the side for dipping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Roll out package dough so that it’s about an inch, to an inch and a half thick.
  3. After you’ve browned the beef allow it to cool fully, and then layer it onto the uncooked dough. Then layer on the onion, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and salsa evenly onto the beef.
  4. Pull one long side of the dough up, as tightly as possible against the beef mixture. Lay somewhat loosely over the top of the beef mixture. Pull opposite long side up, wrapping tightly against the other side, and across the top. Gently press the dough together to seal. Then, wrap the ends together (like you would a present or by also pulling the ends up) and pinch lightly to seal.
  5. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or as long as directed on the package.

When you remove this from the oven you’ll need to allow it to cool for at least five minutes before cutting. This will allow juices and ingredients to settle, and not come spilling out when you do cut it up into those party pieces!
