We’ve already told you about one way to help customers reuse those boxes, by simply opting for plastic over cardboard, but here’s another way they can take home your retail pizza dough, and it won’t cost them a penny. 

 

This idea too, is simple just like all the other marketing ideas we’ve brought to you to help sell your pizza crust and homemade pizza even faster. All it takes is a few perforations in your box. 

 

These perforations should be a bit smaller than the pieces of pizza that the pie will be separated into once they land in that box. This way customers can simply rip the box apart and have recyclable plates to enjoy their delicious pizza on. This helps the environment because customers will use something that can be recycled when enjoying their pizza on the go, rather than using those plastic or Styrofoam plates that cannot be recycled. And for those that are taking them home, you can also create boxes that can be folded up into a container for leftovers so they’re not using wasteful plastic wrap or paper bags to store it in.
