Ramp Up Your Breakfast Menu with Frozen Rolls!

Cinnamon RollsBreakfast sandwiches are hugely popular on any restaurant’s breakfast menu, and these can even be wrapped up for your customers to take a gourmet treat with them on the go. Best of all, using package dough, they’ll only take you a few minutes to make.

Ingredients:

  • 6 frozen rolls
  • 2 cups breakfast sausage, removed from casing
  • 4 eggs, slightly scrambled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. On a well-floured surface, roll out wholesale bread until it is flat. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a muffin tin. Gently press the flattened rolls into the individual cups.
  2. In a large skillet placed over medium-high heat, crumple sausage and cook until it’s just about fully cooked, stirring regularly. Pour eggs over top of sausage in the skillet and cook until they just begin to set but they too, are not cooked all the way through.
  3. Spoon the mixture into the rolls pressed into the muffin tins and bake for about 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, top each with a generous sprinkling of cheese, and place back in the oven for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese has fully melted.
  5. Remove from oven and serve piping hot to your customers!

If you’re looking to increase the speed in your commercial kitchen, you can prepare these to the point where you add the cheese, keep them in the walk-in, and then top with cheese and pop them into the oven to order. So you can give your customers an even fresher product!
