Pizza Dough Meets Refried Beans and Taco Pizza is Born!
At first we thought this would be a great item for your kids’ menu, but we’re pretty sure adults will love this one too. All you need is package dough, some taco toppings, and refried beans that you can also purchase packaged. It’ll be ready in minutes and your customers will love it!
Ingredients:
- 1 package frozen pizza dough
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- ¾ cup water
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 large can refried beans
- ½ cup salsa
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ½ pound ground beef, browned and crumbled
- 4 cups Cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions:
1.) Roll out the pizza dough and place on prepared baking sheet. Preheat oven to temperature you usually use for baking pizza.
2.) In a bowl mix together tomato paste, taco seasoning, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. In a separate bowl mix together refried beans, salsa and onions.
3.) Onto the dough spread some of the refried bean mixture, then a layer of the tomato mixture. Sprinkle some beef and cheddar cheese on top.
4.) Place in the oven and bake for the typical time you always use.
5.) Remove from oven and top with pizza toppings of your choice: lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and anything else you can think of.
