We’ve already told you that the second week of January is National Pizza Week, and now we tell you about another way to celebrate pizza dough – National Cheese Lover’s Day!
Of course the easiest way to celebrate this national food holiday that falls on January 20 this year, is to simply top pizza crust with delicious gooey cheese. Pizzas such as this are very popular, especially when topped with four or five different kinds of cheeses to make it really decadent. However, you can set yourself apart from the competition and give your customers even more choice by offering even more cheese choices. Think of honey wheat dough topped with delicious blue cheese, or jalapeno Havarti cheese pizza with roasted tomatoes on top. Any type of pizza you create that celebrates cheese and makes it the star of the dish will work, and will really make it pop on National Cheese Lover’s Day.
