Mixing Guacamole with Pizza Dough is a Sure-Fire Winner!

Pizza DoughTwo of America’s favorite foods are pizza and guacamole. So why wouldn’t you combine them to create an irresistible pizza pie that your customers will go crazy for? It’s easy when you use this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package wholesale pizza dough
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup taco seasoning, divided
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup cilantro, roughly chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.  
  2. Rub chicken breasts thoroughly with half of taco seasoning. Then drizzle with the olive oil and place them in the hot oven to bake for about 20 minutes, until they are fully cooked through. When done, remove from oven and allow them to cool slightly.
  3. Lower or increase oven heat to temperature instructed on the pizza dough package.
  4. Slice chicken breasts into thin strips, or pull them apart with your hands to shred them.
  5. Spread salsa along the surface of the pizza crust. Top with chicken and cheeses, and then sprinkle remaining half of the taco seasoning over all of it.
  6. Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the crust is brown and crisp.
  7. Remove from oven and top with a dollop of guacamole and sour cream in the center, and sprinkle chopped cilantro all around.
