Make Crescents for Your Guests Using Frozen Rolls

Frozen Bread DoughEveryone loves warm buttery crescents and now, not only can your guests enjoy them, but you can use frozen rolls to make them in a fresh new way right in your restaurant.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package rolls or bread dough, brought to room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. If using one large package dough, roll out into a 10” circle on a generously floured surface. If using rolls, combine them before rolling to make one large circle.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, parsley, Parmesan, and salt.
  4. Sprinkle this mixture onto the dough, pressing lightly as you do so that the mixture sticks.
  5. Cut into twelve wedges, just as you would as if slicing a pizza.
  6. Starting at the long end of each triangle, roll each slice up to the small point. When you reach this end, press it slightly into the dough so that it does not become unrolled.
  7. Brush each roll with some of the melted butter and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until they’ve puffed up and are golden brown.

You won’t even have to tell your customers that these are homemade. One bite, and they’ll know!
