Here’s One More Sauce for Your Commercial Pizza Dough!

Frozen Pizza Dough SupplierWhen you order the best commercial pizza dough, you want the very best pizza garnish to pile on top of it. This garlic sauce is one that’s different for your customers, easy to make, and one that can also be stored up to a week in your walk-in.

Ingredients:

  • 6 – 8 heads of garlic, with just the top of the bulb (not the root end) cut off
  • 6 – 8 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped fresh rosemary, oregano, basil, lemon rind, or other seasonings to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place heads of garlic in one large casserole dish.
  2. Drizzle about a tablespoon of vegetable oil over each head of garlic, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and place in the preheated oven.
  3. Bake for 20-30 minutes, until the garlic becomes aromatic and just begins to brown on the outside.
  4. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
  5. When cooled, squeeze out the individual roasted garlic cloves into one large bowl (they will be very mushy.) Add olive oil and other seasonings if desired and stir to combine completely.
  6. Place sauce in an airtight jar and store in your fridge for up to one week.

You can get really creative with this tan sauce and because it’s gluten-free, you can use it on gluten free pizza crust too.
