Kids’ menus are typically one area of any restaurant that the owner wants to continuously improve upon. But they’re also sometimes the hardest to change. You want to give kids something that will be tasty, the parents something that will be healthy, and an item that’s also new and inventive! That’s why the next time you’re looking to change up the junior menu, hamburger pinwheels can be a great option!

Kids often don’t like hamburgers because they don’t like all that bread that comes with them. This often leaves hunks of bread left untouched on the plate, resulting in a lot of waste. But when you use freezer to oven dough, you won’t have any waste at all, and all of your customers will love it!

These pinwheels are super easy to make. Just lay out your package dough sprinkle on cooked ground beef, cheese, bacon, tomatoes, sautéed onions and mushrooms, and anything else you usually put on your burgers. Roll up the dough, jelly-roll style, and then press on the seam to keep it sealed. Don’t worry about rolling up the ends – these will get extra crispy and be the best part!

When ready place the entire thing in a 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes, until the pizza dough is golden brown. Remove from oven, slice into 2 inch slices and serve, alongside ketchup and mustard for dipping!
