Freezer to Oven Dough is Perfect for Garden Salad Pizza!

 Pizza Doughalads are an all-time favorite among many, and are becoming hotter menu items as people become more focused on healthy diets. But there are really only so many things you can do with a handful of the same basic ingredients, and you may run out of ideas. When that happens, use freezer to oven dough to create this delicious garden salad pizza!

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of pizza dough
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 2-3 plum tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup green pepper, diced
  • 1 cup blue cheese salad dressing

Instructions:

  1. Remove frozen pizza dough from package and bake according to package instructions.
  2. When crust has baked up nicely, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  3. Cover dough with blue cheese dressing, leaving about an inch from the edge just as you would with pizza sauce.
  4. Layer on top of blue cheese dressing: lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, and lastly, red onion.
  5. Slice into wedges and serve!
