For Those That Don’t Want Party Nachos, There Are Nacho Bites – Made with Frozen Rolls!

Frozen RollsWe’ve already brought you the recipe for a party nacho, but what about those customers that want that unique nacho, without all the people to help them eat it? For those folks, there are nacho bites that can be made with frozen rolls

Ingredients:

  • 20 package dough rolls
  • ½ pound lean ground beef, browned and drained
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • ½ cup Monterey Jack cheese, cut into ½ inch cubes
  • 1 can jalapeno slices, drained
  • ½ medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, or as directed on wholesale bread package.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together browned beef and taco seasoning.
  3. Roll out dough so that each roll is about 1” thick.
  4. In the center of the dough place ground beef, one cheese cube, a few jalapeno slices, and a few pieces of chopped onion.
  5. Seal the dough by either pulling it all together and forming a small packet, or fold one side of the dough over to make half crescents.
  6. Brush the dough with butter and then place in preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or as directed on the package.

When you remove these from the oven, arrange a few on a dish or in a basket and serve salsa, sour cream, and guacamole on the side for dipping.
