Didn’t Think You Could Use Pizza Dough for Breakfast? Now You Can!

Frozen Pizza CrustHere’s a recipe you can offer morning, noon or night and your customers will love it! And you can use freezer to oven dough to make it even easier to prepare!

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen pizza crust
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 4 sausages sliced into chunks, preferably breakfast links but any kind will do
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • ½ cup hash browns, homemade or frozen

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown sausage pieces until they are no longer pink, about 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to drain.
  2. Place pizza crust on a greased baking sheet and spread pizza sauce over the surface, leaving about an inch at the edges. Top with cheese, sausages, and hash browns. Break eggs over toppings, being very careful not to break the yolks. Sprinkle entire area with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit (no more, or the eggs will cook before the crust does.) Place pizza in oven and cook for 12 to 14 minutes, until edges are brown and crispy and egg whites are set.

Once you get the hang of this pizza, you can even start asking customers how they’d like their eggs on it! For scrambled or fried, just cook the eggs separately, and place on pizza afterwards.
