Design Your Frozen Pizza Dough in Fun Shapes for National Cookie Cutter Week!
We love telling you about national food holidays because it gives you an excuse to create a fun promotion for your homemade pizza, and to bring even more customers through your restaurant’s door. But we love it even more when those holidays turn into weeks because it allows your customers to get the word out, and get even more of them sitting at your restaurant’s table.
The first week of December is National Cookie Cutter Week, and you can take advantage of it by simply cutting out your frozen pizza dough into fun shapes. Defrost the dough first, and then turn that pizza crust into fun holiday shapes, small circles creating mini-pizzas, or any other fun shape you want to use. How many you offer per serving is up to you, and will largely depend on the size of the shapes you have created, but we suggest at least a couple for a small pizza.
Get big platters for your in-house guests so they can see all the different shapes laid out together, and of course, tell them before they purchase about the fun they’ll receive when they order. Also make sure that during this week, you have regular pizzas on hand, for that just want a good old fashioned pizza pie!
