Create Coffee Cake Using Frozen Rolls

Coffee Cake using Frozen RollsWho has the time to make coffee cake when you’re busy running a restaurant? With this easy recipe, you do!

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Start by layering rolls in a Bundt pan. If you’re using frozen bread dough in place of rolls, simply thaw completely and then tear off small chunks, about the size of golf balls and layering them in. Be sure not to ‘overflow’ the pan.
  2. Over top of the bread sprinkle dry pudding mix, brown sugar, and chopped pecans, in that order. Drizzle melted butter over the entire thing.
  3. If the bread needs to rise at this point (it will tell you on the package,) cover entire pan with a damp cloth, place on the counter (needs to be at room temp), and allow to rise overnight.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. When your cake is ready to for baking, place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of dough comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven when done and allow to cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes.
  7. Place a serving platter directly on top of the Bundt pan and flip so that the cake ends up on the platter.

You can serve this as is to a large group, or slice it up for individual servings. You can even make smaller cakes using smaller pans. After all, half the fun is in picking it apart!
