Chocolate Covered Pizza Dough for Chocolate Covered Anything Day!

chocolate banana strawberry pizza
This year, Chocolate Covered Anything Day falls on December 16, and it’s a natural pairing with the pizza dough that’s in your freezer. This dessert pizza is easy to make, and combines chocolate with another natural pairing – fruit!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package dough
  • ½ cup caramel chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips, whole
  • ½ cup chocolate chips, melted in the microwave for 20 seconds
  • ½ cup miniature marshmallows
  • ½ cup banana slices
  • ½ cup strawberries, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake frozen pizza dough for 12 minutes, or until it’s fully cooked through and crust is golden brown and firm to the touch. Remove from the oven.
  2. Top dough with caramel chips, chocolate chips, and marshmallows. Return to oven and bake for 3-5 minutes, just until the toppings have melted.
  3. Remove from oven again and allow to cool completely. Then top with strawberries and bananas, and drizzle melted chocolate across the top.

Is there any tastier way to celebrate Chocolate Covered with Anything Day? We didn’t think so, and we don’t think your customers will think so either. They may even request that you make this a regular menu item!
