Celebrate National Caviar Day by Spreading It on Frozen Bagels!
Did you know that July 18 is National Caviar Day? You can take advantage of this national food holiday by placing this elegant treat on pizza crust, or our favorite way – spreading it onto delectably fresh and soft frozen bagels.
Ingredients:
- 1 package bagels, white or whole wheat products
- 1 jar of caviar spread
- 1 Roma tomato, thinly sliced
- ½ cucumber, thinly sliced
- ½ cup green olives, chopped
Instructions:
- Defrost bagels and lightly toast. Evenly spread caviar spread over both sides of the bagel. Place two slices of Roma tomato over top of caviar, and follow with three slices of cucumbers. Sprinkle chopped green olives over top of each.
Serve this sophisticated open-faced sandwich to your customers alongside a salad, or just serve it as it is as an appetizer. With this dish, it doesn’t really matter how you serve it. Your customers will be so pleased that they’re being treated to something as chic and fine as caviar that it won’t matter to them how it arrives. And you just may find that it becomes a regular menu item!
