Celebrate Food Holidays, and Leave Homemade Pizza Out of It!
We’re always telling you about different food holidays that let you celebrate package dough, pizza crust, and everything that has to do with homemade pizza. This February 17, start offering something else on your menu – coffee – at a discounted price to get yet another type of promotion going.
February 17 is Café Au Lait day, meaning that if you sell coffee like most restaurants do, you too can take advantage of this holiday. And because coffee is a beverage enjoyed by nearly everyone, it’s something that could get even more people in through your door.
To make a café au lait, simply brew a pot of piping hot coffee and have some warmed milk on standby. At the same time, pour both the coffee and the milk into a warm mug, making sure that the two liquids meet before they’re dropped in. This will ensure the proper 50/50 ratio that’s essential to any café au lait, and also gives it that pretty decorative surface on top that makes this one of the most gourmet-filled things anyone could drink.
