Many of the leaves have fallen, and there are beautiful colors all around! For many, fall is the best time of year so to give your customers a seasonal treat, use your freezer to oven dough to whip up this scrumptious treat!

Ingredients:

1 sheet of retail pizza dough
2 tablespoons butter
4 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and finely chopped
½ cup packed brown sugar, divided
3 tablespoons almonds, chopped and slivered
4 ounces Brie cheese

How to prepare:

1.)    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add apples and sauté for 10 minutes. Add ¼ cup brown sugar and cook for five minutes. Remove from heat, add almonds, and stir. Allow mixture to cool slightly.
2.)    Meanwhile, take rind off Brie cheese, break into chunks and place on pizza dough. Using  a knife, lightly spread the cheese around the dough, leaving a space of about two inches from the edge. The cheese will melt and spread quite far.
3.)    When apple mixture has cooled, spread evenly over the cheese.
4.)    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and when hot, place apple-brie bake in and allow to cook for about 10 minutes until Brie has melted and is slightly bubbling.
5.)    Remove from oven and serve immediately!

We guarantee that your guests will be back for more of this fall favorite very, very soon!
